If you are new to Pilates:
To build a strong foundation, you must first focus on the basics:
- Identifying the core muscles
- Learning proper body positioning – what is neutral?
- Start to practice proper Pilates breathing
- Learning how the spine moves – flexion, extension and rotation
- Becoming familiar with the Reformer and how to change the springs, football and box placement.
Enroll in the Introductory Reformer Class series. It is a 2 week, 2 session series and each session is 50 minutes. One instructor will lead 2-4 new students through a series of Pilates exercises on the Reformer. Here are the following dates:
Saturdays, 12pm
Oct. 5 and 12
Oct. 26 and Nov. 2
Tuesdays, 4pm:
Oct. 15 and 22
Nov. 12 and 19
You’ve practiced Pilates in the past:
You have a decent understanding of the principles and you are experienced with the Reformer. We would like to see where you are in your Pilates journey and determine the best practice for you, moving forward. Schedule a private session by emailing .
